The Process
Project preparation begins with the installation of a 3î
crushed stone base. Next, new concrete is poured over the
base to a minimum depth of 4î, supported by either
reinforcing bars or mesh. The desired pattern is then
applied, followed by the selected color, ensuring your
envisioned look is achieved. Finally, a thorough cleaning
is performed and two coats of sealer are applied for
durability.
Color Options
Increte Color-Crete/Integral Color refers to high-grade
iron oxide pigment designed and packaged in disintegrating
bags that are placed directly into the mixer, resulting in
the concrete to be colored throughout the entire mixture.
Thirty standard colors are available, which you can
preview by clicking on the top color chart. Also available
are Increte Color Hardeners, ready-to-use dry-shake
material applied to the concrete for additional vibrancy
and the benefit of increased strength. Color hardeners are
particularly useful as they can be mixed with water and
then plastered on vertical surfaces of freshly placed
concrete such as risers, steps, and planters. Hardeners
are likewise available in 30 colors, which can be
previewed by clicking on the bottom color chart.
